I was born into a family of birders and started actively birding at a young age. Some of my first written words were bird names and banding codes.
I’ve drawn more than 1,000 birds since 2021 and continue to draw at least one bird each day. I use HB pencils for sketches, Faber-Castell Polychromos for colored pencil drawings, and gouache for paintings.
For digital art, I use Procreate on an iPad with an Apple Pencil.
For photography, I use a Canon PowerShot SX740.
